  • Automatic Blinds

The main living area of The Palms Penthouse is equipped with motorized blinds, while the bedroom blinds are manually operated.

To help keep the penthouse cool in Panama's tropical climate, the motorized blinds are typically closed before your arrival. As the sun rises over the Pacific Ocean, the morning sunlight can warm the main living area very quickly.

We recommend closing the motorized blinds each evening before going to bed. This helps keep the penthouse cooler overnight and allows the air conditioning to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the day. If the blinds are left open overnight, the residence can become extremely warm by mid-morning, placing unnecessary strain on the air conditioning system.

Please do not pull on the motorized blinds by hand. If you need assistance operating them, we've created a short Blinds Guide with step-by-step instructions and a quick demonstration video.

  • ❄️ Air Conditioning

The Palms Penthouse is equipped with two central air conditioning systems serving the main living areas and individual mini-split units in each bedroom, allowing every guest to customize their own comfort.

To help the air conditioning perform its best in Panama's tropical climate, we recommend:

    • Keeping the motorized blinds in the main living area closed overnight and while you're away during the day.

    • Keeping all exterior doors and windows closed whenever the air conditioning is running.

    • Setting the bedroom mini-split units to 25°C (77°F) while you're away. This helps control humidity, keeps the rooms comfortable, and reduces unnecessary energy use.

    • Adjusting the bedroom temperature to your personal preference when you're in the room.

The combination of the morning sun and Panama's tropical humidity can warm the penthouse quickly. Following these recommendations helps keep the residence comfortable throughout your stay.

  • Your private plunge pool is one of the highlights of The Palms Penthouse. Whether you're cooling off after a day at the beach or enjoying a quiet evening under the stars, we hope you'll make the most of this unique outdoor space.

To keep the pool crystal clear throughout your stay, routine pool maintenance is performed each Thursday. The maintenance team will ring the doorbell upon arrival. If no one answers, they have authorized access to the residence and briefly walk through the penthouse to access the terrace, as this is the only way to reach the private pool. They service only the pool and will leave immediately once their work is complete.

If you notice anything unusual with the pool or feel that it requires additional attention during your stay, simply send a WhatsApp message to Concierge, and we'll be happy to arrange additional service.

For the best performance of the pool, please do not adjust or operate the pool equipment.

Want to enjoy the pool after sunset? View our Using the Private Plunge Pool guide for instructions on operating the pool lights and other helpful tips.

    Safety Reminder

    • There is no lifeguard on duty.

    • Children should be closely supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

    • Please do not dive or jump into the pool.

    • All guests use the pool at their own risk.

  • For your convenience, we’ve placed two complimentary bottles of drinking water in each bedroom to help you get settled after your arrival.

The water throughout The Palms Penthouse is suitable for brushing your teeth, showering, washing produce, and cooking. For drinking, we recommend using bottled water.

Additional bottled water is readily available at Riba Smith, El Rey, and Super 99 in Coronado, all a short drive from the penthouse.

  • To help keep PH Solaria clean and beautiful for everyone, we ask that you follow the community's trash and recycling guidelines.

    Household Trash

Please place all household trash in securely tied garbage bags before taking it to the trash bin, located at the end of the hallway on your floor.

    Recycling

The community recycling station is located in the parking garage, just a short walk from our designated parking spaces.

To help support the building's recycling program, please:

    • ♻️ Crush aluminum cans and plastic bottles before placing them in the recycling bins.

    • 📦 Flatten cardboard boxes before recycling.

    • 🗂️ Place each recyclable item in the appropriate recycling container.

If you have large cardboard boxes please flatten them, place them inside a sturdy garbage bag, and leave them in the designated disposal area rather than placing them in the regular recycling bins.

Thank you for helping us preserve the beauty of PH Solaria and ensuring it remains a wonderful place for both residents and guests.
